It has also been previously reported that Messi’s amaxophobia has led to him spending over $50 million on his car collection. 

One of the most expensive cars that Messi owns is the Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti. Priced at around $36 million, Messi bought the car at an auction where he defeated his arch-rival, Cristiano Ronaldo. He also owns a Ferrari F430 Spyder which costs around $164,490. The 36-year-old also owns a Pagani Zonda Tricolore which costs a whopping $2 million.

Messi also owns three Audi cars, due to the German company’s past association with his former club, FC Barcelona. Last but not least, Messi also has a Mercedes SLS AMG ($642.490) and a Maserati Gran Turismo MC Stradale ($242,100).

The Argentina skipper has reportedly spent around $30 million on his massive real estate portfolio. After Messi left FC Barcelona for PSG in 2021, Messi started staying in a two-story property in the Neuilly-Sur-Seine area in Paris. However, he didn’t buy the property and only rented it, paying around $22,000 per month. He also has four houses in Miami which cost him almost $20 million. He reportedly owns a 4,400-square-foot apartment in the Porsche Design Tower.

Messi also has the entire ninth floor for himself of the Regalia Tower on Collins Avenue. Lastly, he owns two extravagant units in the Trump Royale Tower in Miami. However, he will reportedly buy another property in Miami ahead of his move to his new club in the MLS. He also bought a $12 million holiday home in Ibiza and a $3.8 million mansion in his hometown, Rosario.

Lionel Messi’s professional commitments force him to travel around the world frequently. The 7x Ballon d’Or has resolved this discomfort of hopping onto different planes for travel by buying his private jet. Messi’s private jet costs a whopping $15 million. It boasts a kitchen, two bathrooms, seats for 16 people which could be converted into comfortable beds, and also has some personal touches for the Argentine ace.

He also has his private jet, the Maiora Seven C, valued at around $13 million. The yacht has several striking features such as a VIP room, kayaks, and wave runners.

Lionel Messi has also ventured into the business of hotel chains since 2017. The former FC Barcelona star’s hotel chain, MIM Hotels, is managed by the Majestic Hotel Group. His chain now features six different hotels according to a report by MARCA.

The MIM Hotels consist of Hotel MIM Sitges, Hotel MIM Ibiza, Hotel MIM Mallorca, Hotel MIM Baqueira, and Hotel MIM Andorra. The sixth hotel is located in Puerto Deportivo de Sotogrande in Cadiz, Spain. However, Messi’s hotel in Barcelona had to be demolished due to issues with the length of the balconies
